A busy week for Shamrocks hurlers

South Kildare Shamrocks U16.

A very busy week has just finished for the South Kildare Shamrocks, writes Martin Sheridan.

On Monday last our Under-14 hurling team played against a very strong Athy team. A very good performance from the lads was, unfortunately, not enough on the evening. 

On Tuesday our Under-12 hurlers played Rathangan and put in a huge performance that got them a great win on the night. Thursday evening, our Under-16 lads played Kill and also came away with a win. 

Many thanks to all the lads and all the mentors and our strong group of supporters. 

Next Wednesday evening our Under-14 hurlers are playing Round Towers in Athgarvan at 8.15pm. All support appreciated.
