St Brigid's Avenue celebrates 60th anniversary

It certainly doesn't seem like a decade ago since the Diary covered an anniversary party in St Brigid's Avenue, writes Brian Byrne. The report and some pics from the last time are here. 

In the nature of such events, almost half a generation apart, there were, thankfully, many familiar faces, and some new ones. And, sadly, some are no longer with us but still in the thoughts of their friends and neighbours today.

Due to having to also cover the Old Kilcullen Picnic on the Green, we couldn't wait for the official bits of the estate's 60th anniversary, but we'll let the pictures tell their own story.
