'We can't blame teenagers for this one'

An idyllic country scene photographed by Frances Moloney yesterday, cows in a field on the Logstown Road. Except she wonders about the building rubble that seems to have been dumped in the field.

"A demolished old kitchen? Shed?," she asks. "I wonder if this is a Kilcullen premises that is being renovated or if the dumpers were strangers who 'got lost' on the way to Silliot Hill?

"Perhaps we as consumers should demand to see receipts for dumping appropriately before we pay that obliging chap with the van/trailer who seems such good value ..."
