Christmas Tree Recycling - Tree Shredding

Kildare County Council are again providing a Christmas Tree Shredding service this January.

Christmas trees can be left for recycling at the Council Nursery, Naas Road, Newbridge until 23rd January – the recycling area is clearly signposted and lies just beyond the new roundabout on the left-hand side of the Naas bound dual-carriageway.

Please note this service is for Natural (real) Christmas trees – please do not leave artificial trees at this location. Please remove tree stands, wires, lights, decorations, tinsel, packaging, wreaths etc. prior to leaving the tree for recycling.
Shredding has already commenced, and the wonderful landscaping material will — in time — be used for local landscaping projects.

This community recycling service is provided free of charge by Kildare County Council. PLEASE do NOT leave any waste or litter at the Nursery!

The Nursery will suit people from Newbridge, Kildare and surrounding areas – the Council have Christmas Tree Recycling facilities at other sites also: Clane - Clane GAA, Prosperous Road; Naas – Fairgreen; and  Leinster Street, Athy - Meeting House Square.
