The passing of Fr John Heffernan

Rev Fr John Heffernan OP will be remembered by many in Kilcullen who attended Newbridge College, especially those who were interested in rugby. Fr Heffernan passed away in his sleep last Friday in his 94th year.

He is reposing at the Dominican College Church, Newbridge from 11am-8pm today, Sunday. A private funeral will take place at 11am tomorrow, Monday in accordance with government guidelines and his funeral will take place afterwards to St Conleth’s Cemetery, Newbridge.
