Masses and Services in Kilcullen over Christmas

Church of the Sacred Heart and St Brigid Kilcullen & St Joseph’s Church Gormanstown

Due to Covid-19 and the current restrictions the maximum capacity for Gormanstown Church is 30 people and the maximum capacity for Kilcullen Church is 50 people. We are required to leave an hour between each mass to allow for sanitising the church.

We have put on extra masses this year in the hope that it will accommodate our parishioners who would like to join us in celebrating the birth of Jesus.

The Christmas obligation for attending Mass this year can be fulfilled by attending on any of the 12 days of Christmas, so it is not obligatory to go on either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.

There will be stewards on duty to assist massgoers to manage Covid-19 protocols such as social distancing. As the Christmas Eve Masses, and the 10am and 12 noon Masses on Christmas Day are expected to be the busiest, it would be helpful if parishioners choose one of the other options.

Massgoers are encouraged to come early for whatever Mass they wish to attend. In the event that the church has reached the permitted capacity, a 'No Room at the Inn' sign will be displayed. Masses will be broadcast over loudspeakers outside the church, also on 107FM for those who listen on their radios. As always, they will be streamed over the internet.

Christmas Eve: 9pm. Christmas Day: 9.30am. Sunday Dec 27th: 9.30am.

Kilcullen
Christmas Eve: 6.30pm & 9pm. Christmas Day: 8am, 10am & 12 noon.

St Stephen’s Day: 11am, 6.30pm (Vigil Mass for Sunday).

Sunday Dec 27th: 11am Feast of the Holy Family. 

Dec 28th to 31st: 11am. 

Friday Jan 1st 2021: 11am World day for Peace. 

Saturday Jan 2nd: 11am, 6.30pm (Vigil Mass for Sunday)

Christmas Services in Brannockstown
We will stream Christmas-themed services at www.brannockstownbaptist.com at 11am on Sunday 20th, Friday 25th and Sunday 27th December.
