As the fine weather continues and those who can are getting out for their walks, runs, cycles or whatever for exercise, do you know what's a 2km distance from home? writes Brian Byrne.

Well, there's a website — called, yes, 2kmfromhome.com —which will tell you.

The image above is a 2km radius from Sunbury Close in Kilcullen. It goes out as far as Thompson's Cross to the south, to Lui na Greine northbound, Kinneagh Hill on the Curragh Road, and Milemill to the south-west. That's quite a bit of territory.

The website will show anyone the distance from their own home using the location service on whatever device they are on.
