Grow It Forward group formed in Kilcullen
A Kilcullen group has formed around the Grow It Yourself initiative Grow It Forward, writes Brian Byrne.
The idea is to share locally what food people are growing for themselves, which is on the increase in the coronavirus situation.
GIY founder Michael Kelly says his organisation will provide seeds and support to all such groups, and he hopes the initiative will inspire more people in the community to grow their own.
The contact person for Grow It Forward Kilcullen is Cliona Kelliher. There are already 17 local people signed up to the group.
