The passing of Seamus Orford

The Diary has learned with a deep personal sadness of the death of Seamus Orford, Ballsbridge, Dublin and Kilcullen, formerly of the Irish Dairy Board, peacefully at St Vincent's Hospital, Dublin, on July 27th 2025. 

Predeceased by his parents Tommy and Jinny, Seamus’s passing is deeply regretted by his cousin Mary, Josephine, the Dowling and Orford families, former colleagues, friends and his wonderful neighbours.

Seamus will be reposing at his cousin Mary's residence at Castlemartin Lodge, Kilcullen (Eircode R56D628) from 4 pm to 8 pm on Thursday, 31st July 2025, with prayers at 7.30 pm. Removal to the Church of the Sacred Heart and St Brigid, Kilcullen, on Friday 1st August, arriving for 11 am Funeral Mass, which may be viewed on this link, followed by burial in New Abbey Cemetery, Kilcullen.
