New Principal-designate for CPC

Joe Leonard, Deputy Principal CPC, has been appointed Principal with effect from 1st September 2019. He will replace Catherine Moynihan, who is retiring, having been Principal since 1 January 2012.

Mr Leonard has been Deputy Principal since 2017, having previously served as Deputy Principal in Beneavin De La Salle College, Dublin from 2012.

He says it is a privilege to be appointed as the next Principal of CPC. "I know the community will join me in thanking Ms Moynihan for her trojan work in the school as Principal, a position she will continue to fill with distinction until the end of August."

Mr Leonard is very much looking forward to continuing working with the Board of Management, Trustees, staff, parents, the wider community and, of course, the wonderful students. "My hope is that CPC continues to be at the heart of the community and together with the dedicated staff of CPC, I will strive to ensure that the young people of Kilcullen and the surrounding area receive the very best in education."
