Scoil Bhride pupils complete beehives decoration
Pupils in Scoil Bhride have completed the painting of the two beehives which are being installed in Kilcullen as part of the Tidy Towns biodiversity plan, writes Brian Byrne.
The first of them (below) had been painted in time to be displayed on the KCA float in the recent St Patrick's Day Parade, and both were ready for collection from the school yesterday by Paul Leighton, who is leading the project.
An official launch of the project will be held during National Biodiversity Week, which runs 18-25 May.
Pictured are the design and painting team, Matthew, Sean, Sarah, Evie, Kate and Elliot.
