Spring snow is in the air (and on the ground)
And we thought the Beast from the East wasn't coming this year ...
UPDATE: 7.18am Monday, AA Roadwatch is reporting slippery conditions on part of the M7 northbound, advises care. Also it may be slippery on parts of the M9. Drive slow, keep your distance.
10.30pm Sunday, according to AA Roadwatch 'there are extremely long delays on the N7 northbound from after J12 Newbridge through to J10 Naas South, with reports of two separate breakdowns between J10 and J9 Naas North. The left lane is blocked as a result. Southbound delays have improved. The M9 is slow northbound passing J2 Kilcullen.
Afternoon Sunday: We hear that somebody with a tractor is helping to keep traffic moving through Kilcullen. Thanks from everybody.
And Gda Joanne O'Sullivan has been up and down the town all afternoon, helping to keep things going. Lots of thanks to her too.
Also, the performers for tonight's Concert in the Bridge Camphill Hall are not far out of town at this stage, and so far the event is still on, even if only with a small audience.
