It's going to be a very busy weekend

Though the weather wasn't helpful, the organisers of the St Patrick's Day Parade were busy during the week putting up bunting to brighten the town for the weekend, writes Brian Byrne.

The Parade is just part of what will be a very busy weekend, with lots going on, including the twinning visit from Saint-Contest in Normandy.

Members of the Twinning Committee are pictured below at a special networking morning recently in Kildare County Council, where they garnered advice from other established twinned towns around the county.

Also, don't forget the opening of the Valley Fairy Trail on Saturday afternoon at 2.30pm, especially if you have little ones to bring along.
