Kilcullen stop for Cannonball Run 2024 cars

A reminder that the 2024 Cannonball Run of supercars will this year stop for refuelling on Saturday next at the Circle K Service Station on the M9 just outside Kilcullen, writes Brian Byrne.

Driving through the weekend of 6-8 September, some 200 high-end cars will include the famous sports car names of Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Porsche, Aston Martin and Maserati.

The event has raised money for Irish charities, so far totalling €1.6 million. This year's nominated charity is the Jack and Jill Foundation.

The cars will be at the Kilcullen Circle K from around 11am on Saturday 7 September, on their way up from overnighting at Wexford and heading for Galway via a spin through Wicklow.

Through the weekend, Circle K is running a nationwide campaign "When you fill, support Jack and Jill" and 1 cent from every litre of miles and milesPLUS fuel sold at Circle K will be donated to the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation.
