Anatomy of a Fall for Kilcullen cinema

The next movie from Kilcullen Bridge Cinema is an Oscar winning film, Anatomy of a Fall, showing Tuesday 16 April, writes Teresa Nurse. 

Written by Justien Triet and Arthur Harari it is the story of Sandra, a successful German writer, who has been living in the French Alps with her husband Samuel and son Daniel. When Samuel’s dead body is found below one of their chalet’s windows, a police investigation raises many questions. One year later, Sandra is on trial for murder.

Winner of the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival 2023 it has become one of the year’s most successful international films. It won a BAFTA and an Oscar for best screenplay. It also won six European film awards, six Cesars and two Golden Globes.
