What's to say about Conor Williams's 50th birthday celebration last night, except that it was a packed and happy event in O'Connell's Bar, writes Brian Byrne.

With so many people there, photo-taking was restricted, but the Diary did manage to get a representative selection of friends, family and fellow members of the gospel choir.

We suspect that at some stage, when the disco music ceased, voices may well have been raised in harmony, somewhere.
