Upcycling competition by climate action group

An upcycling competition is being organised by Kilcullen Community for Climate Action, in association with a Treasure Town event of 18 June.

The idea is to reuse old materials to create something new.

Entries can be dropped into Kilcullen Library before 16 June and will be judged on creativity, usefulness and innovation.

All products created must have a 'continued life', such as art, or storage, or any other way that makes them useful in their new form.

The Treasure Town event is free and will include children’s activities, plant swap, talks and a jumble market where the ‘price’ of each item is a climate pledge.
