Happy hurling blitz for Shamrocks

The young hurlers of the South Kildare Shamrocks took part in a Hurling Blitz yesterday in Kilkenny, writes Martin Sheridan.

The other teams in the event were Round Towers Kildare, Lisdowney Kilkenny, and St Michael's Warwickshire.

It was a great day's entertainment and a very enjoyable one.

A lot of tired bodies at the end, but very happy ones and a lot will have been learned from the experience.
