Don't miss CPC's 'Spilled Ink' fun show tonight

Turning some of the best-known fairy tales on their heads is part of the hilarious action in Spilled Ink, being performed by CPC drama students in the Moat Theatre tonight and tomorrow night, writes Brian Byrne.
So we have Sleeping Beauty Princess Aurora taking Prince Charming Philip to court because he kissed her without her permission while she was sleeping under Bad Fairy's spell.
Then there's Synderellah in jail for life without parole, desperately in need of a Prince Charming to clear her name. Little Red Riding Hood is in the clink too, but she's running the prison contraband system with the help of her Granny.
And Snow White has something of a drink problem, that darned apple fermented and gave her a taste for the cider?
Enter the Brothers Grimm – Jacob and Wilhelm — who don't recognise what they unleashed, and wonder whatever happened to 'happy ever after'?
It's all a mess of fun, misinformation, and even hallucinogenic fantasy. Not to be missed — this Thursday and Friday nights only 11/12 May, tickets €12 from the Moat Theatre here. Also available at the door.
