Learn aerial dance (and other stuff) at Kilcullen GAA

Workshops in aerial dance and ground-based circus acts will be held on Saturday next, 13 May, in Kilcullen GAA for anyone with an interest in learning such skills, writes Brian Byrne.

The free event is open to anyone aged 11 and older — with no upper age limit — and will be held from 1pm-6pm. It is organised by Fidget Feet Aerial Dance in association with Kildare County Council's Arts in Co Kildare initiative.

The workshops are in advance of a 'House' show scheduled to take place in Naas on 26/27 August. Described as a 'collaborative community spectacle', the show will include the above circus skills as well as people with other showcase abilities such as ballroom dance, jive, cheerleading, baton twirling, Irish set dancing, or anything else to wow the crowd with.
