Santa visits Scoil Bhride, declares Christmas holidays

We guess it's really Christmas now, when Santa came today to Scoil Bhride in Kilcullen to wish all the pupils — and especially the teachers — a really happy Christmas and New Year, writes Brian Byrne.

He was welcomed by the Principal, Anne Flanagan, to a full assembly of the school in the hall, where he was treated to some Christmas songs from the Scoil Bhride Choir, and was told by Ms Flanagan that she had a 'very long' list of children who had been nice during the year, and a 'naughty list' on which there were NO names.

He also handed out medals to the school's very successful Girls GAA team, and to the Boys Soccer team.
