Georgia is part of Carlow university history

Georgia Markham, a former student of both Scoil Bhride and Cross & Passion College, has graduated from South East Technological University in Carlow with a first class honours BA degree in Product Design Innovation, writes Brian Byrne.
Georgia was among the first tranche of 2,300 graduates from the newly-established university and says it was an honour to be there, along with her parents Emily Coyle and Paul Markham. She has thanked her class mates, lecturers, friends and her family for all their support throughout the four years — "It was a truly special day!"
Georgia has also been offered a PhD scholarship by the college, which she has started while working part-time for Enterprise Ireland. Her father Paul has expressed his thanks to both of Georgia's Kilcullen schools — "I have to say both schools helped her greatly."
