There was a full house and a very appreciative audience at last evening's Conversation with Desmond Morris in Woodbine Books, writes Brian Byrne.
Woodbine's Paula Kavanagh led the conversation with the eminent zoologist, television programme maker, and renowned sociobiologist, from which one key message was not to let the news plunge us all into despair.
After some 70 books on from his original Manwatching, the Athgarvan based author remains absolutely positive about the future of mankind, in part because of invention and science yet to come, but also because as a species we continue to ask questions about life.
He was in Woodbine to sign copies of his revised memoir, Watching, but the occasion was so much more than that.
We'll have a full report later.
