Girls night out with the birds
Pauline Fagan and her sister Annie (right) from Boston were with their cousin Mary Berney from Athgarvan last night at the dusk Birdwatch Ireland event in Pollardstown Fen.
The walk through the fen was followed by a demonstration of ringing juvenile swallows and martins, and was an event for National Heritage Week.
