MEP on visit to Kilcullen

Fine Gael MEP Colm Markey visited Kilcullen yesterday, and Cllr Tracey O'Dwyer took the opportunity to discuss concerns around traffic, the need for better bus service and a rural bus link.

"We dropped into some local business where discussions inevitably came back to Brexit," Tracey said afterwards. "We also discussed the estates in the area that I’m working on to have taken in charge. and the challenges there are to this process."

She said the MEP commented on how busy the town was and that there was 'a great energy and feel' to Kilcullen.
