Action group's scrap raised €4,000

The amount raised by the recent scrap metal collection by the Ballyshannon Action Group totalled €4,000.

The money will go towards the group's continued efforts to fight the inappropriate development of a large quarry at the heart of its community.

Any excess funds will be put back into local community projects and charities with full transparency for the community and oversight by the Ballyshannon Action Group Committee.
