Sewer problem being dealt with in Kilcullen

It's a busy roadworks day in Kilcullen this afternoon, writes Brian Byrne.

Irish Water is dealing with a major sewer problem halfway down the hill which has been causing significant problems. It has to be said that the repair crew are managing traffic very well in a very difficult situation.

Meanwhile, Kildare County Council has removed the damaged bollards on the bridge which were recently knocked by a vehicle.

So, if you were slowed down passing through the town today, it was unavoidable ... and all for the good in the end.
