Pope to speak during Triduum for St Joseph at Knock

A special event streaming from Knock Shrine over the weekend may be of interest to parishioners who can't travel there.

It's a Triduum for St Joseph, starting on Friday 19 March which is the Feast of St Joseph. Celebrating the 150th anniversary of the proclamation of St Joseph as the patron of the universal church, Pope Francis declared 2021 as 'The Year of St Joseph'.

The event begins with a streaming of Mass from the Shrine at 7.30pm, at which Pope Francis will speak.

Cardinal Christoph Schönborn, Archbishop of Vienna will speak at the 7.30pm Mass on 20 March and to conclude the three days, Archbishop Michael Neary, Archbishop of Tuam, will speak at 12pm Mass on Sunday 21 March.
