A thought for our closed pubs

Just a thought for our three town non-food pubs, which remain closed through Christmas as they have been for most of the year since March, writes Brian Byrne.

For The Spout, McTernans, and O'Connells, to say that we miss you all, and all the friends we'd normally be meeting in your places, especially over this time of the year. We've also missed the support you give in normal times to so many events, groups, clubs and good causes.

Hoping that Tommy, Mary, Allan, and colleagues and all their families and those of their staffs, have a peaceful, happy, and healthy Christmas and New Year, in the hope of a better 2021 for everybody.
