Nichola C. Kennedy FAOI Optometrist:
Regarding Level 5 — we are awaiting confirmation from the government via our Association about the provision of our services to our clients and community. At present level 5 means we are to work on an emergency basis only as per the last lockdown and operate behind closed doors. We worked through the last lockdown, and have been open since May 18th with no cases. We are screening people on arrival and we are operating a closed door appointment only policy in an effort to keep everyone safe. Optometry in general has proven itself to be a safe environment. Why are opticians singled out as emergency only?

Kalbarri Cookery School is a whole different level on Saturday 24 October. Stock up for the long weekend at our Bake Shop. Family meal specials this weekend are Roast Chicken in Lemon Honey and Saffron with Potato au gratin €12; Rich Beef Pie €12; Quiche, Arancini with Roast Pepper Sauce. Almond and Black Cherry Crumble; breads tarts and cakes. Meal orders to Siobhan at 087 2932501.

Kilcullen Community Centre will shut its doors again from midnight Wednesday for between 4-6 weeks depending on the review that the Government will carry out in 4 weeks’ time. This is unfortunate as the centre really caters for the physical and mental wellbeing of our community. All users of the centre be assured that their time slots will still be there for them on their re-opening. There is light at the end of the tunnel however as our All Weather Pitch WILL remain open for underage training of pods up to 15 with no contact. Let us remember that this will pass and all going well we will be back in full swing at the beginning of December.

Essential Retail Outlets:
The official list of retail outlets and services and any relevant restrictions can be found here.

We will upload videos, photos and keep you all totally indulged in all our new arrivals. We will of course ship all orders and update our website daily.
