Pumpkin pinchers at large

The pesky pumpkin pinchers are abroad on their brooms, lifting their loot from the various Halloween displays put up around town by Kilcullen Community Action, writes Brian Byrne.

Six have been stolen from the displays on the bridge, and three from the tubs at the end of Sunbury. (For those last, the perpetrator was spotted in the act and noted.)

"And there seem to be a couple missing from the tubs at the CPC gates too," a KCA person said. "But that won't stop us doing things. Christmas lights and displays are next."
