Zoom birds event for adults and children
With our garden birds beginning to think of a coming winter life, and many families thinking of getting out the feeders for them, a Zoom event next Saturday 19 September is worth spending an hour on, writes Brian Byrne.
It is organised by Kildare Libraries and is presented by Patrick Hunt, who will detail what each of our Common Irish Birds look like, what they eat, and how they survive in our garden.
The event begins at 11am, and will include a question and answer session at the end. To book email newbridgelib@kildarecoco.ie with 'Birdwatching' in the subject line.
The presentation will also show how to encourage the birds into your garden through planting and feeding stations.
