Autumn push for walking in Kildare

A programme for walking in Kildare is being encouraged by Into Kildare under the banner Let's Walk Kildare This Autumn!, writes Brian Byrne.

Forest walks and trails, exploring The Curragh ancient lowland grassland (above), and learning the history of the County's bogs are just some of the suggestions from the programme.

The organisation, which promotes tourism within the county, says says autumn gives a chance to explore less visited routes and 'enjoy fabulous blue skies and amazing golden sunsets' among the attractions.
