Revenue warns on email, text, scams

Just be aware of another scam slushing around the internet, this time purporting to come from Revenue in Ireland.

These are emails or text messages seeking personal information in relation to wage or tax subsidy refunds.

Revenue has issued a statement reminding people that the service does NOT send such emails of text messages. If you get one, delete it.

If you have given any details in response to such messages, get in touch with your bank as soon as possible.
