JJ Kavanagh suspends services

Bus operator JJ Kavanagh has suspended most of its services from Monday 16 September until the end of the month, writes Brian Byrne, saying it is an effort to curtail the spread of Covid-19.

The exceptions are:

139 Naas – Blanchardstown
183 Glendalough – Wicklow
363 Tallow – Lismore – Cappoquin to Dungarvan
367A Dungarvan to Waterford
607 – 617 Waterford Cities Services

The company says that people who have already bought tickets may change them when services resume, without any cost of change.

Though it is not specific about it with its announcement, the move means that the Kilcullen-Newbridge hourly service, operated by the company, is probably also ceased.
