Women's Day lunch cheque presented to Hospice
At the recent International Women’s Day Lunch hosted by Cllr Tracey O’Dwyer in Kilcullen in aid of St Brigid’s Hospice, a grand total of €1,250 was raised.
Cllr O’Dwyer has expressed her thanks to all the businesses and local people who donated prizes for the raffle and to everyone who contributed to what is a very worth cause.
"Unfortunately far too many of us have had reason to see first hand the great work that St Brigid’s Hospice do," she said, "and while this is probably only a drop in the ocean, I hope our small contribution helps in some way."
The cheque for €1,250 was accepted by Joe Moran of Friends of St Brigid’s Hospice.
