Places on beginners beekeeping course

There are still some spaces left on the next course planned by the South Kildare Beekeepers Association, writes Brian Byrne.

If anyone wants to begin beekeeping, the course is a must. You can register for it on the organisation's website.

Once details have been worked out, all those registered will be notified by email with time, location and payment details.

It's an ancient activity in Ireland, and was protected with its own comprehensive regulations back as far as the Brehon Law used by the ancient Celts in Ireland.
