The Teach na nDaoine open morning brought a ‘nice flow’ of people through the house, according to the Committee.

“I think people were surprised how big and bright the extension at the back of the house is,” Antoinette Buckley said afterwards. “The Committee sold 44 bricks today so it was a great start to the fundraiser. The aim is to sell 120 bricks but we could extend the path area to hold 1000 bricks.”

Kildare South TD Fiona O'Loughlin was one of the visitors and stayed to meet and greet the supporters.

The Committee has announced two dates for cleaning and painting the finished exteriors, Wednesday evening 14 August from 7pm and the morning of Saturday 17 from 9.30. Anyone wishing to help will be welcome, and should contact Liz Maloney or Antoinette Buckley.
