Launch of Art Exhibition Trail this evening
Up to 60 pieces of art of all kinds have been submitted for the Kilcullen 700 Art Exhibition which launches this evening, writes Brian Byrne.
The launch will be at 7pm in Crean's Place, with exhibits being on display there, in Woodbine Books, the River Cafe, the Credit Union building, An Tearmann, the Final Furlong and Kilcullen Community Library.
"This exhibition displays exceptional pieces from local amateur and professional artists who have been invited to exhibit creativity in a form of their own choosing," says co-organiser Esther Reddy, "and this has been put together in this wonderful presentation of art."
The exhibition will run for a month and is being supported by Kilcullen Lions Club.
"Sincere thanks goes to the management and owners of each establishment who have welcomed and are displaying the Kilcullen 700 Art Exhibition," co-organiser Conor Williams says.
