A new business operating from The Link business park was launched today, which will provide catering services to events of any size, anywhere in the country, writes Brian Byrne.

Love Food is the latest venture by John Coughlan Catering, aimed at bringing the experience of 30 years as a caterer for very large events to anything ranging from home parties through business meetings to club events and weddings and more.

The enterprise was launched today at the Love Food 'Grab and Go Gourmet Shop' in The Link Park, which is both a quick-stop location to easily pick up a simple coffee and snack or the makings of a full evening meal at home, and also a reception area where clients can consult with the team to have their catering needs dealt with.

"We'll cater for every size of need," says John Coughlan, whose original business was voted Ireland's 2016 and 2017 Event Caterer of the Year. "We can provide multiple food choice and pricing structure, for events in buildings, luxury marquees, from catering wagons, in smaller coffee docks and bars, anywhere in Ireland."

In addition to John and Barbara, the principals of Love Food are their daughter Leona, and Liam Delaney who has been with John for more than a quarter of a century. Kilcullen man Paul Carey, who operated the Good Food Gallery for a number of years, is the enterprise's Business Development Manager.

Love Food can be contacted at 045 482465 or info@lovefood.ie. The website is www.lovefood.ie.
