The play will be presented in Kilcullen Town Hall Theatre on Friday/Saturday 17/18 May, performances starting at 8pm.
The DDDG was formed from adult drama classes organised by Drama Dynamics founder Evelyn O'Sullivan.
12 Angry Jurors is based on the screenplay of 12 Angry Men written by Reginald Rose and produced as a film in 1957 with a stellar cast which included Henry Fonda, Lee J Cobb, and Ed Begley.
Rose rewrote the story as a stage play which was produced in London in 1965. It follows the same theme of 12 ordinary people charged with determining the guilt or innocence of a 16-year-old inner-city teenager accused of stabbing his father to death. It raises issues of personal prejudices, agendas, and belief systems, and director Evelyn O'Sullivan says it is a 'tense thriller that will have you questioning yourself from start to finish'.
Tickets can be booked from the Drama Dynamics website or by phoning 087 6441504.
