Twinning Charter for signing on Sunday
The Twinning Charter between Kilcullen and the town of Saint-Contest in Normandy, France, will take place on St Patrick's Day at 12.30pm, writes Brian Byrne.
The ceremony will be held in the Kilcullen Heritage Centre, following the St Patrick's Day Parade at which the Saint-Contest Mayor Stephanie Yon-Curtis and a delegation of her town's councillors will be guests of honour.
The Charter will be signed on Kilcullen's behalf by Cllr Billy Hillis, Mayor of the Naas Municipal District, in the presence of the Kilcullen Twinning Committee.
All in Kilcullen are welcome to attend the signing, within the limits of space in the Heritage Centre.
