Kilcullen has another Rose escort

In addition to Jeffrey Hovenden Keane, whom we featured last month, Kilcullen has a second Rose of Tralee escort who will be accompanying one of the young ladies in contention at this year's event, writes Brian Byrne.

He is Conor Griffin, a business development manager and son of Christopher and Philomena.

Being the only boy with three sisters Amanda, Amy and Ruth, he's certainly well used to being in the company of women. "They kept me in line, but I was always the favourite son," he says.

Conor is an avid cyclist and a member of Naas Cycling Club. "I took up cycling three years ago and haven’t stopped pedalling since. I find it a great way to keep fit while socialising with some fantastic people."

A lifelong pioneer, Conor loves to socialise with friends and is known to enjoy a spot of dancing from time to time.

The Rose of Tralee International Festival 2018 begins on Friday.
