Public meeting on Brannoxtown NS future

Pupils entertain during a school Open Day in 2015.
There will be a public meeting in Brannoxstown National School next Wednesday, to discuss the future of the School, writes Brian Byrne.

The meeting will begin at 8.30pm, and everybody with an interest in the School and the community is asked to attend.

This follows the news earlier in the week that the Archbishop of Dublin in his capacity as Patron of the School has officially closed it.

Other educational interests are to be invited to tender for the running of the School. The meeting next week, organised by the Save Our School Brannockstown group, will fully inform the community on the up to date position.
