Big turnout for Parish Feis

There were more than 300 young dancers from all over Ireland at the Kilcullen Parish Feis yesterday.

The event, which is more than five decades old, was held in the St Laurence's GAA Centre in Narraghmore. It was run by Tracey O'Dwyer and Jenny Landers.

The Feis started out as one of the events held in the marquee during Kilcullen's annual Carnival, later moved to the JFK Hall, and for many years was a regular event in the Community Centre. It moved to Narraghmore in 2023.
