Artistic business development bursary

Artists are being invited to apply for a bursary from Kildare County Council to develop an artistic business, writes Brian Byrne. The Artistic Entrepreneur Bursary Award 2025 is worth €1,500.

The bursary is being offered through the council's Arts Service in association with the Kildare Local Enterprise Office and is designed as a 'seed fund' to support the initiation or development of an artistic business based in Kildare.

The successful applicant can use the money as a catalyst to develop their business idea or for a fledgling arts business to expand. 

The recipient will also receive additional support from Kildare LEO, including mentoring and training opportunities, to the value of €1,000.
