Name, date, venue change for KWWSPCA Bazaar

A new date and name and new venue has been set for the postponed Late Summer Bazaar organised by the Kildare & West Wicklow SPCA, writes Brian Byrne. Now the KWWSPCA Autumn Bazaar, it will be held on Sunday 20 October at Newbridge Rugby Club (above), Rosetown, Athgarvan.

There will be stalls selling a wide variety of items including cakes, home produce, household goods, bric a brac, small items of furniture, pictures, mirrors, clothes and accessories, books, products for your pets and much more. Light refreshments will be available. There will also be a children’s activity area and face painting. 

The organisers would prefer people not to bring their dogs, but if they do, the dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. Call 087 6803295 for more information.

Meantime, the annual Pet Blessing Service will be held in Christ Church, Celbridge, at 2pm next Saturday 5 October. Everyone is welcome. Dogs must be on leads and cats and other small pets in suitable pet carriers. A collection will take place during the Service with the proceeds going to the KWWSPCA.
