The passing of Ida Sutton

The Diary has learned of the death of Ida Sutton (née Pierce), Kilgowan, Kilcullen, peacefully at Dunlavin Nursing Home on 2 October 2024 in the company of her loving family. 

Beloved wife of the late Jim, loving mother to Beverley, Avril, Colleen and the late Gordon, and cherished grandmother of Lydia, Charlotte, Henry, Andrea, Gemma, Jordan and Scarlett, Ida is fondly remembered by her sister Vivien, brother-in-law Roland, sister in law Beryl , sons-in-law Emmet, Colin and David, relatives, kind neighbours and many friends.

Ida will be reposing at Doyle’s Funeral Home, Ballymount, Colbinstown (W91RX37) on Friday 4 October from 4pm until 7pm with prayers at 6.45pm

Her funeral service will be in St John’s Church, Yellow Bog, Kilcullen (R56EW21) at 1pm on Saturday 5 October. There will be a private cremation at a later date.
