Part time cleaner wanted for Childcare Centre

KCCEC is looking to recruit a part time cleaner for our purpose-built childcare centre.

Responsibilities will include

• Daily cleaning of 5 classrooms, staff kitchen and sluice room (to include mopping floors, cleaning skirting boards and rubbish removal)

• Daily mopping of Entrance Hallway, main corridor, back hall and both stairwells

• Daily cleaning and mopping of children and staff toilets (upstairs and downstairs)

• Monthly cleaning of windows, doors and all skirting boards throughout the centre

• Daily dusting of common areas, wipe down of heavily used areas such as doors, light switches etc.

• Maintaining the sluice room and ensuring cleaning supplies are ordered and replenished when needed

• Following appropriate cleaning procedures as set out by KCCEC

• Ensuring appropriate Health and Safety control procedures are followed with cleaning materials

• Good communication skills

• Good Time management skills

• Securing premises

Desirable

• Experience in cleaning residential or commercial

• Manual Handling Training

Hours: 15-20 hours per week. Salary negotiable.
