Pumpkin Patch Kildare starts this weekend
A reminder that the 2024 Pumpkin Patch Kildare outside Kilcullen kicks off this weekend, the first of three opportunities through the month of October, writes Brian Byrne. The event inaugurated last year will be regulated over three two-hour time slots on each day, with booking available here. That said, booking is not essential according to the organisers, and there will be entry available to walk-ups.
No dogs are allowed generally, but two dog-friendly slots will be available on Saturday 12 October.
In addition to picking pumpkins, attractions will include meeting Basil the pony, resident mini horses Ronnie and Reggie, Ginger the Pig, welly throwing competitions, penalty shoot outs, face painting and Field Day games.
